Tinubu Assures Fubara He Won’t Regret Accepting His Intervention in Rivers Political Crisis

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, that he will not regret his decision to accept his intervention during the political crisis that rocked the state.
Tinubu gave the assurance on Saturday while speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Rivers State.
Addressing Fubara, the President said, “You will not regret your decision to listen to us.”
The statement was a reference to Tinubu’s intervention in the prolonged political disagreement between Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, which triggered months of tension and affected political and legislative activities in the state.
The President had stepped in to broker peace between the two political leaders, leading to a reconciliation arrangement involving both camps.
However, disagreements surrounding the political relationship between Fubara and Wike have continued to generate public attention.
Tinubu’s latest remarks appear to reaffirm his confidence in the peace arrangement and assure Fubara that accepting his intervention was the right decision..
