Unemployment Has Dropped to About 5% in Nigeria — Issa Aremu
MINILS Director-General, Issa Aremu, says Nigeria’s unemployment rate has fallen to about 5% from the double-digit figures recorded previously.
Speaking on the development, Aremu described the reduction as remarkable, saying it reflects increased economic activity and rising employment across both the public and private sectors.
He said the latest figure shows that more Nigerians are now engaging in employment and economic activities.
