Fresh Petition Accuses CBN Deputy Governor Emem Usoro Of Having Child With Lover Through Stored Sp£rm
A fresh petition sent to President Bola Tinubu has raised new allegations concerning CBN Deputy Governor Emem Nnana Usoro and her relationship with the late Jerry Wesley.
The petition, according to SecretsReporters, alleges that Wesley’s widow, Grace Wesley, first issued a public notice in ThisDay on March 8, 2021, warning Usoro against claiming to be Wesley’s wife.
It claimed that days later, members of the Wesley-Efedede family appeared in another newspaper notice challenging the widow’s position. The petitioners alleged that some family members later disowned the notice, claiming they had been persuaded to sign it under false pretences.
The petition also alleged that Usoro told Wesley’s family she had spent ₦2 million on IVF, resulting in twins allegedly fathered by Wesley before his death.
According to the petition, the controversy took another turn in late 2022 when Usoro allegedly informed the family, through an emissary, that she had used Wesley’s stored sperm and a surrogate mother to have another child more than a year after his death.
The petitioners further alleged that Usoro retained some of Wesley’s private documents and that her alleged access to them facilitated the events described in the petition.
The claims remain allegations and have not been proven in court. Usoro has also not publicly addressed the allegations contained in the petition.
