Tinubu Move To Assist Victims Of Abuja Market Fire

President Bola Tinubu has pledged his administration’s full support for the victims of Thursday’s Karu market fire in Abuja.

A massive fire erupted at Karu market in the Abuja Municipal Area Council on Thursday, causing significant destruction of goods worth millions of naira, according to Ibom Focus.

In a statement released on Friday by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Tinubu conveyed his profound sorrow over the incident.

“President Bola Tinubu receives the news of the fire incident, which affected sections of Karu Market in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), with deep sadness. On Thursday evening, fire ripped through a swathe of the market, destroying property and other valuables,” the statement read.

The President extended his heartfelt sympathies to all the traders affected by the fire and assured them of his administration’s unwavering support. He also urged caution and adherence to essential safety measures to prevent future fire outbreaks and other accidents.
