BREAKING: Activities, Passengers As NLC, TUC Shutdown Abuja Airport

Following the operations of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC), passengers were left stranded at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.

Labour leaders had previously proclaimed a protest at a news conference in Abuja, and they had blocked the airport’s main entrance and exit.

Cars and airport taxis are no longer able to pick up customers.

Some people go to catch their planes, while others venture to a road far from the airport in order to catch taxis.

There is significant traffic on the route to the airport as drivers wait for the demonstration to end.

Passengers are seen discussing the unexpected circumstance, with some blaming Hope Uzodinma, the governor of Imo State, for the labor actions that followed the attack on Joe Ajero, the president of the Nigerian Labour Congress.
