A total of 1,325 persons have failed the bar final examination 2021 the Nigerian Law School released result on Tuesday. The statistics by the Council of Legal Education showed that a total of 5,770 persons sit for the examination.

However, there were 1,326 failures which formed 22.98 per cent of total participants.
Twenty students (0.007%) bagged first class, 432 (7.49%) bagged second class (upper division). 2,172 (37.64%) students bagged second class (lower division) and 1,725 (29.90%) got a pass.
In the breakdown of the result, 35 (0.61%) students had conditional pass, while 60 (1.04%) students were absent. The result of the examination is a prerequisite for getting called to the Nigerian Bar.
Thus, successful participants will be called to the Nigerian Bar in a call-to-bar ceremony scheduled to hold on July 27 and 28. The Director of Administration of the Nigerian Law School, Elizabeth Max-Uba, confirmed the release of the result.
